According to Rice (EC 5,1 1902, p. iv) this is a Kadamba record dated 1095 CE, his number Mj. 18. It belongs to the reign of Tribhuvanamalla Daysiṃha mahārāja who was youngest of the three sons of Duddha mahāraja and the grandson of Cāgi mahārāja. He obtained a boon from the goddess Ekkala and a long account of his virtues and accomplishments is given. The object of the inscription is to record the construction of a tank by his mother Mecala Devī, daughter of king Baṅki Balaritya.
