Other modern history Found by Cunningham "concealed under numerous coats of whitewash in the wall of one of the buildings of the merchant's [sic] residence," Cunningham, Mahabodhi, p. 72; he gives the same information ibid., p. 68. The slab is broken diagonally at the bottom, and lower part does not seem to have been recovered.
