A large rock-boulder, measuring about 30 feet in height (9.144 m) and 50 feet (15.24 m) in length, upon which are to be seen slight vestiges of an ancient brick structure, probably a stupa. A seventh-century Sinhalese inscription cut into the rock to the south of these remains.

Discovered at Andaragollǟgala in 1953 by C. W. Nicholas, the head of the Wild Life Department. Andaragollǟgala is a group of detached rocks about three miles south-east of Maradanmaḍuva and about three-quarters of a mile east of Tim̆biriväva, close to the eastern boundary of the Vilpattu National Park.
