A large rock inscribed with five Sinhalese inscriptions, dating from around the sixth century. The inscriptions have been engraved close to each other, three of them on the left side of the inscribed area and two on the right.

Located at the site of an ancient monastery at Galkäṭiyāgama, four miles south-west of Polpiṭigama, in the Hiriyāla Hatpattu, Kuruṇǟgala District. The inscriptions on the rock were first recorded for scholarship as No. 101 in the List of Inscriptions forming Appendix F of H. C. P. Bell’s Archaeological Survey of Ceylon Annual Report for 1911–12, p. 118.
