Details | A low flat hummock of gneiss rock, upon which stands the ruins of a small rubble-built stupa. The ruins have been dug into, probably by treasure seekers, the disturbance leaving only a shapeless mass of debris. The rock is also engraved with at least two inscriptions: one is about eight feet to the south of the ruins (IN03124), the other – a more fragmentary record consisting only of the name of the king, Śrīmeghavarṇṇa, son of Mahāsena – some twenty-five feet to the east. |
