Inscription engraved on a slab of stone found in Būḍhānīlakaṇṭha, near the gate of the walled tank of the Śeṣanārāyaṇa statue, Kathmandu. The date is read as saṃvat 518 by Gnoli and 517 by Vajrācārya and Regmi.

| Other modern history | In 1885 Bühler and Indrāji reported that the inscription was fixed in a wall near a bell. Gnoli found it in the same place in 1956 and reported that the slab was partly broken. Regmi in 1983 also wrote that the stone was broken in two pieces: only one piece giving the inscription up to line 10, as published by Bühler and Indrāji, was still present while another piece was missing. The text of the inscription was recovered thanks to a previous rubbing that included the missing section of the inscription/stone. |
