Details A set of five plates, the first and last inscribed only on the inner side, the others on both faces. They have no raised rims. The hole (diameter not reported) for the connecting ring is on the left-hand side, vertically at the centre, and horizontally at an estimated 4.8 cm from the edge. The plates are linked by a ring, on which a seal is also hung through a perforated handle on its back (this is probably the same thing as the band reported for other Vākāṭaka seals).

Authority Shastri, Ajay Mitra. (1989). Māṇḍhal Copper Plate Charter of Pravarasena II, Year 16, Epigraphia Indica, 41 (1975-76), pp. 68-76.
Details Discovered during excavations conducted by Nagpur University, probably in 1975-76, in the village of Māṇḍhaḷ (20.940411, 79.466583) in Umred taluka of Nagpur district. (Shastri 1975-76a says the excavations took place in 1976-77 and 1977-78, but he says so in a paper supposedly written in 1975-76 [though not published before 1989], and the discovery of the plates is reported in a review for 1975-76 [though not published before 1979]. Shastri 1975-76b says the excavations took place in 1975-76). The intact set of plates was found (along with two other sets, OB00176 and OB00177) in an earthen pot just below the surface at the mound named Bholā Huḍkī.
Notes Found with OB00176 and OB00177.
