| Details | A single plate, the first of a set, inscribed only on the verso. Its surface is flat, without raised rims. The hole for the connecting ring is on the left-hand side, vertically at the centre, and horizontally about a third of the way in from the left edge. Its dimensions are nowhere reported, but are presumably very close to those of OB00153. Mirashi and Shastri take it for granted that this plate belongs to the same set as OB00153. Neither scholar draws attention to the fact that IN00166 is not an exact continuation of IN00165: two characters at the end of the latter are repeated at the beginning of the former. Accurate measurement of the plates' dimensions and the location of the hole on each may help settle the question. The mere fact that both OB00152 and OB00153 were in the possession of residents of Indore is no grounds to assume that they belong together, as Indore is quite far both from Tirodi, where the village granted in IN00166 is probably situated, and from Tewari, from where IN00165 was probably issued. |

| Details | This plate was revealed to be in the possession of a Dr. Nagu (or Nagoo) of Indore sometime between 1960 and 1980. Its previous history is not known. The place of issue is probably modern Tewari (23.644331, 77.987046), MP. The plate is now in the National Museum, New Delhi (accession number 78-61-22442). |
