A connecting ring from a set of plates. The ends of the ring are flattened to overlap, and were fastened with a bolt here when Fleet studied the plates. The combined weight of the connecting ring and the seal is 150 grams; the separate figure for the ring is an estimate. (The thickness of the ring seems to be wrong in Mirashi, who otherwise appears to quote Fleet for the description. The figure above is from Fleet.)
