Details | Seal from a set of plates. The seal is a plain oval, which attaches to the connecting ring of the plates through a perforated handle on the back. It shows an image of the Sun and Moon at the top (about 1/3 of the seal's height), marked off by a double line, the ends of which turn perpendicularly upward near the edges of the oval. The bottom of the seal (about 1/4) has another image described as a flower but not recognisable as such in the rubbing. Between the two graphic sections there are four lines of inscription. |
