Details | Discovered in 1974 in Sañjeli, Jhalod Taluka, Panchmahal District, Gujarat. Three plates (OB00094, OB00095, OB00096) were found together, in the earth at a depth of 30 cm, by a farmer while tilling his field. The farmer folded the plates in three to fit them in a bag. They were eventually taken to the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, Gujarat. Here they were cleaned mechanically and chemically. |
