Details |
Discovered while digging foundations for a house in Risthal (probably 24°07'45.7"N 75°19'50.3"E; online map services do not seem to show the location of the village accurately), about 27 km ENE of Mandsaur and near Sitamau (सीतामऊ), sometime in or before 1983. (According to Mirashi 1984: 27, it was discovered on 12 December 1983, but this seems a bit unlikely given that it was first published in 1983. Sircar 1984a: 14 and Sircar 1984c: 168 says it was discovered on 17 September 1983.) |
