Details |
A thick plate inscribed on one face only, presumed the recto. The edges are thickened into rims. Perforated about the middle of the upper side for the connecting ring. There is a seal impression on the bottom of this plate. The weight of the plates is reported by Pandey 1949-50: 264 as 1.5 seers each. Pandey has apparently not seen the plates personally and the figure seems excessive, even 1400 grams for the two plates sounds a bit too much. His informant may have made a mistake, or perhaps used a much smaller seer than standard. |
