Details |
A thick plate inscribed on one face only, presumed the verso. The edges are thickened into rims. Perforated about the middle of the upper side for the connecting ring. The weight of the plates is reported by Pandey 1949-50: 264 as 1.5 seers each. Pandey has apparently not seen the plates personally and the figure seems excessive, even 1400 grams for the two plates sounds a bit too much. His informant may have made a mistake, or perhaps used a much smaller seer than standard. |
