Details | The ring is about 0.5 cm thick and 3.8 cm in diameter. The seal is rectangular, 2.4 cm wide by 3.2 cm high. The seal is badly damaged by fire, but bears at the top, on a countersunk surface, an effigy of Garuḍa with outstretched wings (similar to that on the copper coins of Candragupta II). There is a much damaged legend of two lines below the image. |
