Details Chunar stone. An image of the Buddha standing on a lotus. The proper left side (about one third) of the pedestal seems to have been lost in antiquity and replaced with a piece of halo from an earlier Buddha image on which the text was re-inscribed. This piece (OB00038b) was found separately, some distance away from the image, and has now been refitted. The part of the inscription on this stone is in a different hand, but seems to be of the same period. No dimensions reported.
