Dimensions: | |
Width | 20.5 |
Height | 14-15 |

Weight | ~500 |
Details | A single plate, wider ("higher") in the middle than at the edges. The edges are in some spots thicker than the surface, but the plate was probably not fashioned deliberately thicker around the edges. It is fairly thick, but the engraving is deep and shows through the back in many places. There is no hole for a connecting ring, nor is there any trace of a seal soldered to the place. |

Details | Discovered in 1874 by Carlyelle, found in a small stream at Indor (Indrapura/Indrāpura of the inscription; Agrawala gives the modern name as Indorkheḍā), about 8 km NW of Dibhai in Bulandshahr District, UP. (Note that this is not the city Indore, but a small village, described as deserted in Bhandarkar 1981: 308; probably identical to Indaur on Google Maps, at 28.248558, 78.210860.) |
