Details |
See component data for measurements. Bhandarkar 1981 believes the stone was cut purposely and neatly after line 9, presumably for some new building purpose. Dimensions are for the rectangle enclosing the two assembled fragments. |

Details |
See component histories for discovery. Presently the two fragments are on exhibit together in the Gujri Mahal Museum of Gwalior (erroneously labelled as Mandsaur Inscription of Chandragupta II, which should be the label for OB00058, adjacent in the exhibit). The edges of the slab, especially the top and bottom of the first fragment, have been smeared with cement obscuring parts of the inscription. |
