Details | The inscription is on the back wall of Tawā Cave in Udayagiri, a little to the left as one enters. The cave's number is 7 according to Williams (1982) and Agrawala (1983) as well as the signboard on site in 2017, but 8 according to Willis (2009) and Wikipedia. It has no interior decoration save a lotus carved on the ceiling; the exterior has an unadorned doorway flanked by two dvārapālas. |
