Om, hail! the great cause … thinking that by setting up the image of the Lord, one gets the results of the virtuous deeds, the Lord, the teacher of the three worlds, was set up (his Lord or image). (We do not know whether this refers to the phallus of Kumbheśvara enshrined in the temple.)
