INIG1345a Pachrāi Inscription of VS 1345b

INIG1345b vaiśākha badi 2 śanivāra Pachrāi (Shivpuri). On a slab in the quadrangle of a temple complex. 18 lines, nāgarī, corrupt Sanskrit. Refers to the administration of mahāpradhāna rā˚ Haṁsarāja in the time of Gopāladeva of Narwar. Records the death of Vālha, the son of Kaccharāṇeju and probably the performance of satī by Sulathā the daughter of paḍihāra Salabhaṇe and [Hā]ju the daughter of rā˚ Anaisiha. Engraved by sūtradhāra Mitanka.

INIG1341c Surwāyā Inscription of VS 1341c

INIG1341c kārttika śudi 5 vu(bu)dhe Surwāyā (Shivpuri). On a slab. 25 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Records that in the time of Gopāladeva a well was constructed by the Sārasvata brāhmaṇa Īśvara of Sarasvatīpaṭṭana (i.e. Surwāyā). Composed by Somamiśra, traced on the stone by Gāṅgadeva and incised by sūtradhāra Ratana. The date is also given in the chronogram: eka abdhi rāmarūpa. Now in Archaeological Museum, Gwalior.

INIG1336 Barodī Inscription of VS 1336

INIG1336 mārgaśīrṣa badi 6śukravāra Barodī (Shivpuri). Well inscription found lying on a hill near the village. 29 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Records the construction of a well in Vaṭapadra (modem Barodī) by Devadhara, son of Jalhaṇa and a minister of the Yajvapāla king Āsalladeva. The Yajvapāla lineage is given and Lāvaṇyadevī is mentioned as the consort of Āsalladeva. Further records that Jalhaṇa was appointed to Gopaśaila (i.e. Gwalior) by Hammīra. Written by Śivanābha, traced on the stone by Vikrama and engraved by sūtradhāra Bhīmadeva, all three working under the supervision of Somadeva. Now in the Archaeological Museum, Gwalior.

INIG1332 Pārolī Inscription of VS 1332

INIG1332 bhādrapada śudi 6 budhavāra Pārolī (Morena). On a loose slab. 7 lines, old nāgarī, corrupt Sanskrit. Mentions the construction of a yakṣamaṇḍapa by sā˚ Vāsa[dha]ra, his wife Vihi and their son [Da]rśana. Mentions sūtradhāra Jayaṁtasiṁha.

INIG1098 Bara Inscription of VS 1098

INIG1098 Bārā (Shivpuri). Fragment of a large slab inscription. 8 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Records the construction
of a temple of Viṣṇu (Garuḍāsana), a list of merchants involved in the work, and the name of the sūtradhāra Sthirārkka and poet Nārāyana. Now in Archaeological Museum, Gwalior.
