INIG1336 Barodī Inscription of VS 1336
INIG1336 mārgaśīrṣa badi 6śukravāra Barodī (Shivpuri). Well inscription found lying on a hill near the village. 29 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Records the construction of a well in Vaṭapadra (modem Barodī) by Devadhara, son of Jalhaṇa and a minister of the Yajvapāla king Āsalladeva. The Yajvapāla lineage is given and Lāvaṇyadevī is mentioned as the consort of Āsalladeva. Further records that Jalhaṇa was appointed to Gopaśaila (i.e. Gwalior) by Hammīra. Written by Śivanābha, traced on the stone by Vikrama and engraved by sūtradhāra Bhīmadeva, all three working under the supervision of Somadeva. Now in the Archaeological Museum, Gwalior.

INIG1249 mārgaśīrṣa śudi 2 śanivāra Naresar (Morena). On an image. 2 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Mentions the making of the image by Vāmadeva, styled Doḍhakṣetrapāla, in the reign of Ajayapāla.
