INIG1282b  āṣāḍha śudi 11 Gwalior fort (Gwalior). In the bed of Gaṅgolā tāl. 5 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Eulogies to Tejapāla, his son Padma and his grandson Yaśodhara. The latter (or perhaps Padma) is described as the very pillar of the kingdom of the ruler Malayakṣmāpāla.

INIG1282a Gwalior fort inscription of VS 1282a

INIG1282a  āṣāḍha śudi 9 śukravāra Gwalior fort (Gwalior). In the bed of Gaṅgolā tāl. 10 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Records the desilting of the tanks Gogataḍāga and Rājasaras on Gopādri by Talhaṇadevikā, queen of Vigraharāja and mother of the ruler. Further mentions Aruṁdhatī, daughter of Mithilā and wife of king Malayakṣitīśa. The composer was Ānakichūka, son of Yāśodeva and the engraver was ṭha˚ (i.e. ṭhakkur) Vāghadeva. At the end mentions Jivādevī as the queen of the ruler and as the mother of the prince Harivarman and Jayavarman.

Records obeisance to Keśavadeva and mentions the name nāyaka śrī (name lost) who was the son of nāyaka Daśaratha belonging to a brāhmaṇa family of Padakṛṣṇātrayagotra.

INIG1206 Gudrī Inscription of VS 1206

INIG1206 āṣāḍha badi 9 budhivāra Gudrī (Shivpuri). On the pedestal of a large Jaina image. 7 lines, nāgarī, corrupt Sanskrit. Damaged at the beginning; refers to sādhu Tapaṭa, the son of sādhu Guṇacaṁdra belonging to Mallavakacukānvaya. Gives the genealogy of Gāga and Dhammadeva. Records that the images of Śāntinātha, Kuṁtha (Kunthanātha) and Aranātha were caused to be installed by them for obtaining special merit and the cessation of all kinds of activities. Image now in State Museum, Lucknow.
