INIG1338a caitra śudi 7 śukravāra Banglā (Shivpuri). On a memorial stone. 11 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Records the satī of a lady upon the death of rājaputra Arasīha, his son Dhadhaheu and rājaputra Sīhaḍa in a battle with Vīravrahmadeva near the Valuva when mahārājādhirāja Gopāla was ruling at Nalapuradurga and rāvata Jayatavrahmadeva (i.e. rāuta or rājaputra Jaitravarmadeva) and mahāpradhāna Dejai were running the administration.

INIG1337c caitra śudi 7 śukravāra Banglā (Shivpuri). On a memorial stone. 12 lines, nāgarī, corrupt Sanskrit. Records the death of the archer Gāṅguka (son of archer Siṁha of Vaghelāka family) along with his two sons lndauka and Kauka in the fight of Vīravarman against Gopāla of Nalapura. It seems from the last four lines that eight girls committed satī on the pyre of lndauka.

Records the mahāsatī of Dhūmādevī on the pyre of her husband rāṇaka Vīsala who died fighting on the banks of the Valuvā (modern Barua) for paramabhaṭṭāraka mahārājādhirāja Gopāla of Nalapuradurga when Vīravarman of Jejahuti (Jejākabhukti) attacked with four other kings.

INIG1336 Barodī Inscription of VS 1336

INIG1336 mārgaśīrṣa badi 6śukravāra Barodī (Shivpuri). Well inscription found lying on a hill near the village. 29 lines, nāgarī, Sanskrit. Records the construction of a well in Vaṭapadra (modem Barodī) by Devadhara, son of Jalhaṇa and a minister of the Yajvapāla king Āsalladeva. The Yajvapāla lineage is given and Lāvaṇyadevī is mentioned as the consort of Āsalladeva. Further records that Jalhaṇa was appointed to Gopaśaila (i.e. Gwalior) by Hammīra. Written by Śivanābha, traced on the stone by Vikrama and engraved by sūtradhāra Bhīmadeva, all three working under the supervision of Somadeva. Now in the Archaeological Museum, Gwalior.
